New Tranny?
I'm cuurently in the process of acquiring a 2000 integra LS that I plan to deck out with HiPo parts BUT, she bought it w/ an auto tranny. I already know its a good idea to change them, but where can i get a new tranny?

Check around for wrecked cars and look for a 2000 LS or GSR. You can really use any b series tranny you want but i like the GSR because of it's close gear ratio.

The best tranny "I think" is the ys1 off of the 91 crx's or the civic si's... I forget. It has a close gear ratio. It is a cable tranny instead of hydrolic so you can shift faster, and is easier to install. Get one at a junk yard and look online for rebuild kits for it. Tranny should run from 300 to 500$. and the rebuild kit I think runs right at 400$. I hope you don't have anyone changing it for you because that you be alot of cash. and of course a new clutch. ACT is nice.
