bucket seats for 87 b2200..

i would really like to know what kind of bucket seats i can fit in my 87 b2200, that will install right in without any or very little modding.....i obviously understand that i can put in buckets from another mazda b series, but they are hard to find here.......i bet someone reading this has taken seats out of another car and fit them right into their b series......i have heard lots of guys say "i heard" seats from a ""so and so"" will fit, but nobody has really said that they absolutely know....please help me....thanks

I used some out of ford escort, I'm not sure of the year, they will fit with a little modification. All you do is use the sliding seat brackets of your existing bench seat the will bolt right up the wire that makes it slide, bend it enough so it will move the seat. You will need to two sets of brackets.

Check out Wedge Engineering in Long Beach, CA. You can reach them at:

I was originally going to put some cheapo APC custom seats in my truck, but I have a Plus Cab, and the seats didn't tilt forward for access to the rear... I called Wedge Engineering (who makes the mounting brackets for the seats) to ask if they made a bracket that tilts forward. Unfortunately, they don't.

HOWEVER, they did call me to say that they were closing out some Stratos racing seats and I could have 2 seats, with brackets and a driver's inflatable lumbar support for $360 out the door (which is what I would have paid for the cheap APC seats). Last I looked he still had two tan Stratos seats that he was closing out.

Wedge makes custom adapters for all vehicles, allowing you to use whatever aftermarket seat you want. The installation is simple, you mount the seat to the height you want, install the bolts, and bolt the whole assembly to the mount holes where your old seats were... I was very surpised to see how easy it was.

you are in luck chickand pick, just put a set of buckets in my 87 mazda b2200.only thing you will need is a set of truck bucket seat rails or another set of bench seat rails. if you use bench seat rails you will have to make you a connection between the rails with a close hanger. the seats came out of a 93 mazda protege. they bolt right up.
