91 Integra B18A1 96 Civic Engine Swap???

I am in desperate need of help. i have a 96 civic with a regular old 1.6L engine and i bought a crappy 91 integera for the B18A1 inside of it. Is this engine swap possible? if so, what kind of mods do you think it will take? I also am switching transmissions. Automatic to Standard. Please Let me know what I need to do Before Dig into this project.

Thanks,
Jawdropper6

if the b18a1 goes in the 96 civic, you will not pass smog.

If you are looking for a quick car and you aren't in California I would say use the block and get a B16A head and ECU. You can find the head for around 300 and an ECU for about 300. Have it put togethor the right way and you'll have yourself a nice setup. Mate it with a Civic Type-R Tranny and you'll run some good 1/4 mile times.

Get a nice intake, header and exhaust setup, get some Civic Type-R Cams and run OBD1 so you can get HONDATA and have it tuned. You'll be close to 180-200 horse.

The car will be quick.

The B18A swap is useless.. You are swapping for 5 horse and non-vtec at that. Vtec isnt the most wonderful thing but if you are going to swap at least make it worth your while.
