Header problem

ok guy yall see how that header connects to the dp? well thats how mine is to and it came with no gasket. is there any way to seal it?a because theres alot of air comeing out. what about jb weld could it handle those tempratures?

I would just go to a auto store..(i prefer autozone) and see if they have a gasket.. if not, i'm sure they can order you one.

ok i talked to my gf's dad. he used to build motors for the local race track around here. he told me to take some thermop wrap and some dry heat sealent suposed to hold up to 1500 degress's and try that, does it sound like it will work to you guys?

hmm.. If it was me, I'd just do it the right way and go buy a gasket. I know that doesn't do shit for your question, but thats what I would do.

If it seals why not. I dont know where you would find a gasket to fit on that, I've never seen anything like that before

there is no way there is a gasket for that. its a smaller sircle going into a bigger cirlce.

  Who ever said we are cheap bastards was right.Want to know what I'd do? Foil the bitch. You have to kinda loosely crinkle/roll it into a cylindrical shape about 1/2"-5/8" thick, put it where it needs to be (be sure to overlap the ends a good inch and a half or two inches) and tighten the bitch down. We made gaskets for Mike's basketball hoop pole test pipe and they dont leak at all  .Did you learn anything? Dont buy something with a fucked up joint like that!
