interior lights

1990 dodge daytona es non turbo 2.5 4 cyl, has anyone had a prob with there interior lights to no matter what they stay on??? doors shut, car running, and everthing. also though when I use my dimmer to make the gauges lighter the over head light turns down too, the damn light wont shut off. Anyone know what is wrong??? thanx hunter
