Rear passenger door won't open!!!
My rear door will not function. It used to be you could only open it from the inside but now I can't open it at all. Its power lock and has child proof locks not sure if its engadged or not. Any suggestions?

The only way I know of to open the rear door is to take off the rear door pannel and manually operate the linkage. The door pannel can be hard to get off but dont know another way. Even with a slim jim its almost impossible to get to the linkage.

the year of your jeep will come in handy. on my 94 you open the door and on the seal there is a plastic switch and a sticker on it it says up to engage child lock down to disengage. your switch is probably engaged. dont jump into taking off panels untill you are sure that your child lock is not engaged. on jeeps this lock prevents opening it from the inside but you can outside. i use this to piss my friends off when they ride with me because i get out and walk away and they cannot get out and they freak
