Different oil treatments?
have a 97 explorer sport with 4.0 sohc Iam looking at adding a oil treatment but there are so many. Theres seafoam, resoline, restore, plus many more. Has anyone had better results from one or the other. What the best one to use?

Re: Different oil treatments?
The best one to use is none unless it needs it. If its burning oil or losing compression from age, the only one I have ever used with any success is Restore, but for the most part its all snake oil. They are often times nothing more than viscosity-altering chemicals in a petroleum base.

Re: Different oil treatments?
No oil treatment is the best treatment. Just use a good oil, everything you need is already included. This is also what all engine manufacturers recommends.
