busted shock

hi guys, Need some serious help here I have an 86 chevy c10 1/2 ton 2wd
5.0 v8 everything is stock except for mallory distributor. anyway to make a long story short the other night I noticed the truck sittin a little funny so I started poking around and found a busted shock . the shock was completly loose from the frame and the round hole that the upper mounting bolt for the shock used to go through is now nicely wobbled out and more of an oblong shape. is there anyway to repair this w/o welding if it has to be welded any idea of a type of shop that can do this? Would a mig weld hold it or do i need something stronger. any help appreciated since suspension is not really my game. thanks in advance.
