KA-T oil lines

ok im getting a sandwich plate under my oil filter and i can take the oil line from that, but does the oil return line have to go into the oil pan? im wondering if theres a way around drilling into my pan. can i put it into the oil sender hole if i put an aftermarket oil pressure sender in the sandwich plate? or is there any other alternative?

Re: KA-T oil lines

you can get a sandwich plate to send oil to the turbo. there is unfortunately no way around the oil return. you have to get it drain into the oil pan no matter what.

there are methods where people just use a hole puncher and punch a hole into the side of hte oil pan and then use some special type of thread that seals up against the grooves. but i'm not sure what its called or how you can get your hands on it.

I'm not totally sure on the problem with drilling into the pan, it sounds to me all you have to do is drill it then tap it.

Re: KA-T oil lines

drill it, install a flange, jbweld the shit out of it so it doesnt leak. id just as soon not drill into my oil pan. if i have to i will but i need another pan in case something fucks up.
its really not as big a deal as i make it out to be but still, drilling into major engine parts isnt something i like to do.
