how can i make clear front lights for honda civic hatchback hasegawa model?

hello to all again..i want to make a car like my real car that i drive every day.i change the front lights with clear lights..how is that possible to make then clean in my model?the look horrible! please any advice or sugestions are welcome !

This is the clearest I can get the lights on the same model, I don't know of a way to get rid of the lines in the headlights if that is what you mean. I like the OEM look though so I never really thought too hard about it.

Seriously, if you use tamiya smoke and really thin it down, it should flow into the recessed detail, and bring this out but still leave it relatively clear.

I think this is what you are referring to. If you have a photo of your car it would help.

hey guys thanks for your help..i can tell you a site to see the lights how they look like..

i would like the clear glass look..do not bother for the inside lamps..i just wanna put something to see-trh style.

Gotcha! Right, this will be difficult....

...Could try scratch building some lenses using overhead projector film....
...Casting new lenses using clear resin....
...Will have to give this a little more thought.

No, no. This is really simple. Sand it with fairly fin grit until all the lines on the lense are gone. The just polish it up like you would the clear on the body. For example, on my Dragon M3, the lenses had these emormous DOT lines through them, which I sanded mostly away, then polished the clear. I could have just as easily sanded them away completely, you get the idea.

I figured that would be the one way to do it and you have definetely shown that willimo! Kinda makes me wanna try that on a future project now.
