Question 2000 zr2 abs light on

for the last few days my abs would kick in just coming up to a stop sign, without my tires sliding. Just today my abs light came on and the abs don't work. Any suggestions on the prob?

Needs to be scanned with an abs function scanner.

Have you diagnosed and/or repaired the ABS Light problem?

Any recommendations on quick checks /tests to ID problem?

What have you done and What did it cost?

my abs would just kick in when i was coming up to a stop sign on dry pavement. somebody told me to check the wheel bearings we'll it turns out that the sensor in the wheel were bad.
