Wheelies?

Alright, I'm just curious if anyone has been able to get a car to stand up on it's rear end, even if only for a second, I just want to see some power lift those front wheels damnit.

I've come close with a few of my cars like my Charger R/T, close, but no cigar, and my Super Bee Charger, even closer, but still.. No...
And at that point I was dissapointed, because my Super Bee has around 900 ft lbs of Torque...And I've been trying to get ANY car to do a wheelie for the last 3 weeks... So please... any input would be greatly appriciated.

If you're talkin about GT3, then buy the suzuki escadio(sp) pikes peak. i got a weelie for about 30 seconds, and i was going over 800mph. If youre talkin 'bout GT4 , i dunno. good luck.

i could never get over like 300-400mph. went straight into the wall all the time.
only way i see to pop the wheels off the ground would be to use supper soft tires, no front downforce, TCS 0-1. have to give it a try myself.

Re: Wheelies?

Well, I built up my 'Cuda, and that car BYFAR got the closest with it's near 1000ft lbs of torque, I just gotta find a good launch gear ratio, if that dosn't work, I'm gonna search for a gameshark code to increase hp and tq lol.
Because 600hp and 1000ft lbs of torque should be enough to lift the front wheels, I'll let you know how it works out.

Re: Wheelies?

theres a funny cheat for GT4 that makes your car MEGA accelerate and not stop, i got a wheelie in anything with that.

if not just use the BLCK CARS on gt4, fully tune them and have no front downforce, have mega rear downforce

Re: Wheelies?

Yeah, but I'm looking for a Muscle Car to hit the wheelie, and my Cuda, managed to do this, but with the aid of a bump in the road, but as soon as the front wheels got off the ground it stood straight up. I'm gonna get a memory stick for my PS2 tomorow, I'll post the photo, it's quite nice seeing the 1000ft lbs of torque making a nice footprint.

Re: Wheelies?

That doesn't look like a wheelie to me, just a case of hitting the jump on costa di amalfi and having more rear donforce than front. Almost everycar does that until downforce is balanced out.

To do a wheelie.

1.Select a uber-powerful car.
2.Turn off ALL AIDS
3.Go to Test Track
4.SETTINGS
a)Gears set at longest.
b)Spring rate and ride hieght LOWEST
c)Downforce front-lowest, rear-highest
5.Go have some fun setting wheelies.

Yes, it is a wheelie, no I didn't jump it.
I rolled up to the bump at around 15-20mph, then soon as I got to it I just throttled up and hit the nitrous, thus causing that.
