I just bought a 93 civic DX 4 door automatic. when traveling down the freeway the car's rear seems to be swaying back and fourth and is hard to keep it going straight. It's not pulling so I don't think it needs an alignment. Any ideas? Do you think it has some wore rear bushings?
Silly japanese car!

Re: 93 Civic SWAYS on freeway. SCARY!!
rear trailing arm bushing would be my first guess. go to the dealer ship and tell them and say they should replace it for free since they had a call back on these and that its a road hazard and see if theyll replace them for free. if not its $85 a bushing. i can get u the part # if u need it.

Is that the large bushing connected only on the top and bottom? you said there was a recall?
