the car's not rear-wheel drive. it's front.

Re: Carweight/E.T/Trapspeed/HP(rearwheels)

if you check the racing your eclipse thread, the times you should get are in there

oh yeah, and including what kind of car you drive with your mods is a great help

i kno though that the V2 only goes on the GS and RS versions meaning you've got a 4cyl

4cyl eclipses make 147hp at the crank which translates into 160 or so a the crank with the intake

of course this means nothing until it gets down to the ground

4cyl eclipses make roughly 110-120 whp, add maybe 10whp onto that (maximum for that intake) and there is your answer. I would suggest going and getting your car dynoed though just so you don't make a mistake on how much power you actually have. I wouldn't say you have mroe than 125whp as you are now, roughly 50whp less than a V6 eclipse

as far as weight goes, checking kbb.com is a good way to get the dry weight, keep in mind that your weight as well as the weight of the fuel you carry are significant... if you are 300lbs you are going to have slower times than someone that weighs 120.

Fuel weighs around 5lbs per gallon, give or take, you will have roughly 3 gallons in there regardless of what your gas gauge says unless you kno exactly where your fuel runs out (mine fluctuates, so i can't imagine it is that accurate).

at a 15 gallon tank, and 5lbs per gallon, figure in at least 75lbs extra on top of that, if you are carrying a full tank of fuel.

per 100lbs on your car that you lose, its fairly safe to expect a .1 sec. difference in time
also per 10whp expect to have another .1sec. in time (at least in the beginning stages, there is a point where that growth becomes exponential. (like around 2400lbs it becomes more significant and over 200whp it becomes more significant)

thanks for the spare change

if you have a manual, best guess is that you have about 125-130whp. if you have an auto, then best guess is about 115-120whp
