taurus rims fit a vic?
I am looking at buying a set of taurus rims 6" x 16" with 225 55 off of a 1999 taurus. anyone know if the rims will fit a vic? they are 5 bolt.

They will not fit because they do not have the right backspacing. Also the front wheel hubs are to long on the CV for the rims.

crown vic wheel bolt pattern is the same as the following, ranger,explorer,aerostar,broncoII. I have used crown vic wheels on all of these vehicles so they will fit crown vics. Just watch your offset so that things will clear.

You will not be able to put the taurus wheels on a crown Vic because like I said the front hub is too long and also the backspacing on the taurus wheels are wrong for the CV. Just because you have put CV rims on other cars does not mean that the taurus rim will fit. Trust me I know I have tryed when my uncle gave me a free set of wheels off of a taurus.
