Question to do synthetic or not?

How many of you use synthetic rather than what some call "dino" oil? Benefits to switching?

Thanks.

From looking at your past posts, I'll assume were talking about your 1996 Conti.
It'd be nice if you'd add that info in your signature or post.

Regardless, there's tons of information out there on the benefits of fully synthetic lubricants. The main reason I use fully synthetic is better lubrication especially at startup. Less friction = less wear, better fuel economy.

There's been some downsides reported like more oil consumption but that's better addressed case by case rather than a generalization. I personally havn't experienced more consumption in any of my cars.

Wow, these Olympic Ski Jumpers on TV are great!
