Exclamation blower motor

i just recently had to change my blower motor in my 95 s-10. I need to switch the plastic fans that are on them to a shorter one. How do i remove the old fan in order to replace it? please help!!!!!!

It's pressed on. That said, if they're the same part # they should also have the same hampster cage on it

the guy at the shop that gave me the part said that it was the same one as mine but when i got home the hampster cage on th new one was about 1/2 inch too long. does that mean taht the whole motor is too big?

What you need to do is match the part# of the motor that you got from the guy vs the one you have. If the part numbers don't match then there is an issue.

trucks air boxs without a/c are smaller so blower cage is shorter and possibly motor is smaller less powerful too. also watch that it spins and blows in same direction as i heard some yrs are opposite.
