From that picture there, it looks like the paint is deteriorating. But can't really tell. Looks like maybe oxidation....I don't know what would help besides a new paintjob, sorry, good luck

for the claybar, i did what the box said. . . i spray the spray it came with on and rubbed the claybar over it. . . didnt help. . . the paints not deteriorating. . . it looks and feels like tree sap almost, the car was sitting under a bunch of trees when i bought it. . . its mostly on the top of the car (hood, roof, trunk lid) ive tried waxing it and using rubbing compound on the entire body, nothing. . . when i wax it, it really shines, but just doesnt take the crap off. . .

plz i dont know what else to do besides getting a new paint job. . .

I had the same feel on my old paint, Im pretty sure it's either oxidizing or the sap damaged it perminantely

Re: Paint Help!

they make tree sap removers that are like a wax. Use them and see what happens. Also, did you rub the clay bar on there till you didn't hear any squeaking noise? If not then you have to go through that process for another four hours till the clay bar slides over the whole car without making a sound.

Re: Paint Help!

What Needs To Be Done Is A Wet Sand With 1500 Grit Sand Paper Until Smooth Then A Buff.

If That Dose Not Fix It The Steps To Repaint Needs Done.
