Aux input adaptor

I bought one of these Aux input adaptors from Crutchfield for my 03 LS Impala. I have a CD (no tape) unit. I took my time installing it and mounted the box above the center cubby and dropped the wire through a hole I made in the cubby. The thing works awesome. Press the BAND button till it says AUX 1 or 2 and the input is selected. I have a MP3 player that plugs into my cigarette lighter and uses a thumb (flash) drive for the MP3 source. Sounds real nice. I think the one I have is for 02 or 03 and newer. There is also an adaptor for older vehicles with the flat connector in back of the radio. Crutchfield gives great instructions on how to take the dash apart.
