VR6 Fujimi or Revell??

Hi to everybody

I want to buy on Ebay a model of Golf VR6.I saw that it was produced by Revell and by Fujimi but I don't know if it was a cooperation and the kit is the same.
Revell's are rarer than Fujimi's and so if it's the same I think to take a Fujimi.
I saw from photos that the 2 kits looks similar, molded in black with BBS wheels but I want know if somebody has got these kits and could give me some information

Thanx in advance

Re: VR6 Fujimi or Revell??

I bought a golf kit in Bermuda many years ago. I could swear it was the revell kit. It was molded in black with the BBS wheels. But it seems the closet monster has hidden the kit from me. I remember it had the hood molded shut, but had an engine top plate. So I cut open the hood. The kit was really good for back when I got it. Better than fujimi. I haven't seen the fujimi version of it tho so my opinion doesn't really stand.

If you can find one, don't forget the Tamiya kit (I know it's not a VR6, but it's still a nice kit).

Hi Steve

Yes I know that Tamiya is a very good kit,but it's about Golf 4 and now I am looking for Golf 3.However if I found one Tamiya I take it surely

However I have at home a Fujimi Golf CL and Fujimi Golf GTI.They are good models but they have motor panel in one piece, not as other that motor has to be built with more parts.I know that also VR6 has motor done so,and I'd like to found somebody that has seen the Fujimi's and the Revell's kit and could tell me if they are similar or which is better

Thanx

Yep, they are the same kit. The only difference would probably be the decals. I have both Revell and Fujimi and I find that Fujimi's decals are a little more superior as they are not as prone to 'yellowing'
