357whp/331wtq at 15psi

Went out to the dyno today with my MSD 6A installed. No more misfire. YAY!

1.05kg/cm2

1.0kg/cm2

I was so happy to hit 350whp at 14psi. Esp since it was about 80* out. It was in the high 70s last time I dynoed 351whp at 16psi.

Info about my setup is here http://www.ka-t.org/cory.htm And this is on a 141k stock block KA24DE and on 93 octane pump gas. The car is DAILY DRIVEN at 14psi.

Re: 357whp/331wtq at 15psi

ahah 357whp will accelerate like a 357whp car no matter what engine its got. it will just feel differently based on the powerband. but if you look at his dyno, he makes power straight to redline. which means that car doesn't stop pulling.

didn't you see the video where you see him hit 60-120mph in only 5-6 seconds.

lol Mine will have over 150k here soon. Only 9k away. I say screw the miles if compression is good.

Re: 357whp/331wtq at 15psi

thats ok for you in the climate you live in. here, we have salt that goes onto the road which causes underbody rust...so if its a wi car, its a salt bucket waiting to start rusting, if it isnt 4 yrs or older. speakin of rust, my car has started to, and its a 2001, so i got that project on my hands in the spring

Re: 357whp/331wtq at 15psi

Wow, nice numbers. For comparisons sake, i've attached my dyno graph. I think a little tuning might get me more horsepower, especially if I run in less then 100 degree weather:

I would like to say a word of caution about compression. Especially on a high mileage engine, you'll have a carbon buildup inside the cylinders, which increases compression. The engine could be burning oil like a mother, but still have good compression numbers. Make sure that the number on all cylinders are close together, and also do a leakdown test as well.
