Re: No tunes
One fuse/relay box is under the steering wheel in the cabin. One is in the engine bay beside the battery. The covers generally show what circuit the fuse/relay is for. Your owners manual probably spells it out better.

Re: No tunes
Fuses #12 and #13 (CD) in the I/P fuse panel inside the car.
If you have the factory amplifier and / or subwoofer, fuse #8 is for those. If there has been any "after market" work.....who knows? as people find unique ways to connect things. |

Re: No tunes
Not wanting to hijack this thread - I'm having my own radio issues. I've got the premium sound system in a 95 Windstar, the amplifier was blown so I got a replacement - still no tunes.
I checked the wiring connector at the amp and I have a 6v line from the radio (only when the radio is on) I've no 12v coming to the amp, I'm guessing it should be on the Purple with blue stripe wire (the area the connector solders onto the amp circuit board was all melted out) I've checked & replaced fuse 8. Now I'm at a loss..... As for the original poster - did you ever have sound? do you have rear controls? - have you made sure the headphone icon is not lit on the radio? |
