dash light problems

hey all, i have a '93 mazda 323 which i have recently installed neons in. when i did i blew the radio fuse which i replaced and they worked fine. i was driving around at night and everything was working properly, then i looked down and i had no dash lights. the best way to describe it is that its like my cars lights are on, but the car doesnt know it. normally my clock dims and a whole heap of accessories light up (eg cigarette plug, lights on the climate control etc) and my dash lights come on, but theres nothing. my lights work perfectly, and my dash functions as per normal when the lights are on or off - its just that it doesnt light up. can anyone help me?

use a test light and check all your fuses under the dash and under the hood.
