Brake Question

I have a 2003 Galant and when ever it gets cold outside the brake pedal gets really hard. If I press the brake for a while it releases and the pedal acts like normal. The colder it is the longer it takes.

Has anyone had this problem before? Does anyone know what causes this?

you should let the car reach operating temparature before you drive it.
