what kid of shocks and battery

I have a 97jgc limited with the up country pac on it . i was wondering what kina shocks should i get i do mostly on pavement but i like to hit the mud and dirt every now and then also is my hunting and fishing rig. was thinking of getting some bilstens or rancho will it change the ride dont want something to stiff thanks also was wondering if a yello top or a red top will fit in the stock batt tray
