Tips for 5.2l V8 distributor cap r&r

Just wondered if anybody has any smart tips for getting the distributor cap off a 95 jgc 5.2l v8. I can't even see the screws holding it down.

If I had noticed the placement before I bought the thing I might have gone for the i6.

Also the replacement rotor and cap I bought were from Standard. They look and were pretty cheap. Should I get mopar parts or will the Standard parts last. I don't want to EVER have to replace them again.

Well it's not all that bad.....lol

remove all the plug wires from the cap and set them out of the way. And using a 1/4" socket, universal and extensions, remove the 2 bolts holding the cap on. Getting it out is a lil bit tricky, you will have to move some thing out of the way and pull it up on the passengerside of the throttle body.

distributor cap firing order: 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2
Plug order: Driverside front to back: 1-3-5-7
Passengerside front to back: 2-4-6-8
