street rally

hey, i was woundering if their are any rallys that are on the street like the cannaball rally, i know the cannonball is not still going but if their are any shorter rally's like that say near new york? i'd love to know thanks guys, (sry my english isn't that proper but i'm half drunk and tired)

yes, they are called TSD rallys (time, speed, distance). There's a whole section of the SCCA devoted to such things

I think he might of been in refeance to somthing you can speed on. You can alwyas do Pikes Peak ,that is half, and half, and i believe ther was going to be a full tarmac rally in So Cal. this winter, but i havnt heard of anything about it. Other than that i think your S.O.L.

The Gumball rally is still going.
In the UK we get the "Powerball rally" through europe, cheap to enter too, unlike the Gumball.
Other than the major events there are hundreds of Rallies that go on, join an owners club, thet often put on rallies.

The closest thing to what you're probably looking for that you'll find somewhat near NY is probably the Targa Newfoundland. I'd certainly like to try it in my Miata.
