stuttering at 2500 rpms

heres what is happening car runs great until i get to 2500 prms then it starts to miss, falls on is face the vris #1 is open at idle ?? timing is correct(both) plug wires have been replaced ,new plugs ,fuel filter, new distributor no vaccum leaks ,vaf sensor replaced fuel pressure regulator works correct fuel pressure is ok i have replaced ecu(not sure if this is a good one ) ??? i think it is the vris system not working properly ?? what controls the vris system ecu or tps (tps set correctly) any advice would be helpful

Re: stuttering at 2500 rpms

Glad you got it figured out.

To answer your question about what controls VRIS (Variable Resonance Induction System) , it is in fact the ECU. It will send a signal to the solenoids depending on your RPM to open or close the actuators.

During idle VRIS #1 should open on startup and #2 should stay closed. This is normal. During 3/4 throttle or more (max power) both should be closed until 3250 RPM. From 3250-4250 #1 will be open and #2 will be closed. At 4250 RPM both will be open until 6250 RPM. From there until redline (7500 RPM) both will be closed. This is for a KLDE (KL03). The KLZE will have different VRIS points.
