Check out the FSM's on the front page. That should help. But if I may ask why do you want to take off the EGR?

Ok, well that'll definetly work. You'll just need 2 block off plates to mount over the holes that you'll be opening. sounds like a plan. Let me know how this turns out thru P/M's

Re: i want to take the EGR off my 22re
I have a stupid question. My state has started testing for emissions. I am rebuilding my engine now and it would also be nice for me to be able to clean up my engine. So would doing that prevent me from passing emissions?

Re: i want to take the EGR off my 22re
Well I couldn't tell u straight up if it would work. Depends on the engine.
Get the exhaust tested, (not at deq) and note the readings... Take it off, and test it again, note the readings, then find out what your limits are for your area. |
