picked up the car!

finally got my shell! 1991 coupe, grey interior, HUD, havent gone under it yet so i dont know if it has hicas or not. mainly because i just got home an hour ago...too dark now to do any work.(or take any pics).
seats are shit tho so im probly gonna get some s15 seats.

already ordered the nismo motor mounts, ka24de w/43k on it, espelir jgt500 exhaust, next on list is a turbo setup, probably a GT-RS turbo and ssautochrome or probably a jgy customs manifold. im also getting forged (probably JE) pistons, new stock rods, 550 or so cc injectors, walbro pump, nismo FPR, and much more.

Re: picked up the car!

i got teh motor from mid-city salvage in milwaukee. i know..so cheap!
according to them it has been leakdown tested, compression tested, and started, and teh block and head has a 12 month warranty. but im still going to void the warranty and rebuild it. i dont want to cut corners because im aiming for lots of power. they are shipping it today i think so it should be here in a week or so. their posted shipping times for motors to MN is 7-10 days, i expect 7. the exhaust is on order so itll take 2-4 weeks, the RH motor mount is on back order from courtesynissan so itll take another few days till they ship it, but its all coming together. lol and the car came with the factory tape deck! its for sale if anyone wants it! id def. rock it if i had more tapes, but my music collection resides on my computer, so cds are the way i roll.

will have pics up tomorrow night, my only camera is my phone and it has no flash, so night pics are not possible. tomorrow after school ill have a couple of hours free to snap some glamour shots with the front end sitting all high because of no motor.
these pics are of the car exactly as i bought it, as i wont have time to clean out the car until wednesday.

oh and im selling the blue car again, this time for $2000, hopefully itll happen this time. once i sell that im gonna go get a daily driver, so ill have pics of that too once i get it, if its a marginally tight whip. if it sucks, you cant see it.
