Hi I have a 1996 Chrysler LHS that starts fine and idles smooth in park, but when you shit it into reverse or drive, it dies instantly. Do you think it is the trasmission? I brought it to the shop and the man is having a hard time diagnosing and is waiting for a chrysler tech to reach him. Any suggestions would be helpful. thanks

Re: 1996 chrysler lhs dies
well, I would suggest having the mechanic looking at your car, have him check the EGR valve, make sure it's not stuck open. But to answer your question, it could be a transmission problem.
