Electrical problem??

I have a 97 chevy cavalier 2.2-L, 160K miles. Last weekend on my way home, my emergency brake light came on but the emergency brake was not being used so I didnt think anything of it and kept driving. Ten minutes later, the ABS light came on. I got worried and decided to pull off the road and check my brakes. When i turned on the turn signal all the dash lights went off and the radio went dead but the car kept running fine. i pulled off, turned the radio back on, and checked my headlights and brakelights which were all working fine. I decided to continue home. When I pulled back onto the main highway i decided to try my headlights once more. Again the radio died and all the dash lights went off and the car seemed to jump forward but kept running. After that it ran fine. A few days later i was driving down the road and the beeping noise came on in my car (the one that comes on when you open your door and leave the keys in the car). The battery is fairly new (about 4 months old). Now my car is sketchy about starting, sometimes not even cranking. I looked at the fuses, but I am not good with cars. Any ideas would be appreciated.
