Need some cheap car ideas

Well a little backround im 19 have to be outta of my house by the end of september and need to be on my own insurance. With that said my big ol truck isnt gonna cut it with my budget so i need something cheap...like around 3 to maybe 5000 and reliable...and isnt gonna kill me on insurance. And maybe still be a lil bit of fun to drive if at all possible. What do you ladies and gentleman suggest.

Re: Need some cheap car ideas

If I was in your situation I'd go with a Civic or a Corrola. They're cheap, reliable, and get great gas mileage.

Re: Need some cheap car ideas

insurance depends on where you live. Like in NJ, car insurance sucks. Dude there are a ton of cars that fir ur bill. Narrow it down. Import? Domestic? RWD? AWD? FWD? coupe? sedan? How old/many miles are you looking at?

Re: Need some cheap car ideas

they're cheap and can be relatively reliable if they've been properly maintained

very expensive to turn into a good performing car though.
