'85 crx hf catalytic converter

My cat keeps going out on my '85 crx hf. Is there a way to move the cat so I can use a universal. Where to order one cheap? I live in Ca. so they are strict with the smog.

Re: '85 crx hf catalytic converter

www.summitracing.com has a Magnaflow/Carsound direct fit converter. You can also use a universal converter but the savings aren't very much, and you'll have to pay someone to weld it into your exhaust which will cost you more in the long run. Don't bother with the $25 Ebay universal high flow converters, they won't help you pass emissions.
