Engine Computer Module Frying out.
Hello every one. My buddy has a 1997 Ford Expedition seems the ECM or Engine Computer module is getting fried by something.
they bought the truck from a private party. truck ran and drove fine for about 6 months. next thing you know it is just stalled on side of the road. the first time they didnt think much of it. they bought a new ECM and installed it and ran the truck for 3 maybe 4 days. and it stopped again. they have not brought the truck in to have a dignotstics of the wiring or to see if there is a surge some where. I though I would post something here and see if any one had any ideas for a fix?
