automatic gsx to manual?

Has anybody done this?
How much would it cost?
What would have to be changed?


FYI : I'm really close to purchasing an auto GSX but I want it manual

There are a few threads on this. If you have the technical knowledge it's not to bad if you can get the transmission and other miscellanious parts from a junk yard

You're better off just buying a manual (i know it's hard but waite for one to come) It a huge pain and a lot of money. There is a complete write-up on vfaq.com check it out and see if you still want to do it. Your best bet would be to get a donor car and get the parts that way.

It could be any manual. except obviously the transmission. Athough i'm pretty sure it would have to be turbo cause the 420a's are ass backwards. Like deficiancy said you could go to a junk yard with the list, but it might cost both balls (junkyards around me seem to charge a lot for...junk)
