P28
My buddy has a 95 civic coupe ex but the motor was swapped out the rings were bad and smoked like crazy so the one they put in was a D15 non v-tec but dident have the ecu and is using a p28 which is B series, but runs good jus obviously no v-tec and not gonna rev that high, but do u think this is a good idea? the motor will be changed back out jus rebuildin it right now n waitin on parts. i tell him jus dont rev high, past like 6500 cause thats the rev limit on that motor stock. also how good do you think that ecu will work with a SOHC v-tec motor. All i know is it sucks on gas.

Re: P28
The P28 is the SOHC EX/Si vtec ecu, it's not a B-series ecu. Should be ok for a while, probably run a little rough. But he'll be throwing check engine light codes 21 and 22 (vtec solenoid and pressure switch, respectively).
