How to pull apart dash?
I need to install a new 4WD switch and want to know if I have to pull the entire dash apart in order to get the the 4wd switch located on the left side of the dash. I don't want to pull the entire dash apart if it isn't necessary.
Thanks |

Re: How to pull apart dash?
Most of the dash covers just pull off for access to the switches, but since you didn't give us the year of your Tahoe?????????????

Re: How to pull apart dash?
I removed the dash and replaced the 4WD switch without a problem.
I replaced the switch because of a 'Service 4WD" light that I've been seeing come off and on for several months now. I 4WD indicator lights would be on and off at times and I've been told that 90% percent of the time you have a 'Service 4WD' light, it is usually the switch. I haven't seen the 'Service 4WD' light since I replaced the switch, so hopefully this has fixed the problem. Thanks for the help |
