iI NEED I RECENTLY BOUGHT A TPI SETUP OFF A 1992 CAMARO I NEED HELP IN FIGURING HOW TO CONNECT THE HARNESS TO THE (FIREWALL) I BELIEVE OR WERE IT CONNECTS TO THE METAL FRAME OF THE CAR IN FRONT OF THE DRIVERSIDE UNDER THE HOOD I LOOKED AT THE HARNESS FOR THE 1992 BUT ALL THE METAL THINGS DONT MATCH UP IN THE CARS CONNECTOR (FIREWALL) PLEASE E-MAIL ME

Also, your question is little confusing, if I get you right, you're replacing a TBI setup with A TPI and the passthrough connector at the firewall dosen't match?

You need the harness from the firewall to and including the ecm from the TPI donor car.

I'm assuming you only have the harness for the engine to firewall.

yeah thats correct theres no way i can use the enine harness and change some wires around so it could work

You might be able to repin some wires, but I do believe you need a different ECM.

because i got the original 88tbi ecm and i also got the ecm for the 90TPI

I have a 1992 camaro rs 305. When I start the car, the car will shake really bad. If I put my foot on the gas and get it up around 2k rpm's, the car will run fine. But if I let off the gas, the car will shake really bad and shut off. I think it could be a leaky vacuum hose. PLEASE, SOMEONE HELP ME!!!! THANKS,

You need to get the correct ECM (90-92 speed density) and harness up to the firewall then you s/b good.

Oh, and you did swap the fuel pump right? Last minute thought there.
