Lincoln town Car Identification

Hey I need someone to give me a couple things that would identify this Lincoln that I found for sale in Utah. I just need to know exactly what it is so I can make a bid on it for a project car

Ummm...... is there a picture to look at somewhere? Year? Model?

The door tag gives lots of coded information...
Here's one resource for decoding the door tag.

Re: Lincoln town Car Identification

I know that this is around a mid-70's Lincoln so it's VIN number only has 15 digits. I don't have it with me right now but I can get it probably monday and post it if that will help. But again it's only 15 digits and this is the one I found on the dash under the windshield

Well, there's two other ID points. One under the hood on the setup labels, and the other is on the drivers door or jam near the latch or striker bolt.

Addiitonally, you might find sites like this one, all over the internet.

Re: Lincoln town Car Identification

Well I went to that site and the two things that I'm looking for are the engine size and body series and they don't explain what they mean on that site. The VIN I have had an F that was in a wierd font kinda like calligraphy that was the first and last digit out of 13. The VIN goes F6Y(some wierd symbol that looked like an eight with a flat top)82A91355(another of those wierd eight things)8F. So if anyone can help me that would be great and I'll try to get pictures of it sometime next week I just don't have time with superbowl being now and everything.
