97 Jimmy all lights pulsating

Within the last month every light started pulsating. Lights on dash, overhead lights, headlights. You name it. They all pulsate. I thought it might be the alternator but the alternator puts out a steady 14.9 volts.

Hi Mojjee, Have been there and done that. If you look at my post you will find that I have a gremlin at work on my 99. Your pulsing lights sounds like the fuel pump surging. Use the test plug for your fuel pump and a ampmeter and see what it is drawing and also if it is pulsating. if so there is your culprit. Just a thought.

Thanks, Jimmy 58. I wouldn't have thought of that. Although I've had a bad fuel pump on more than 1 occasion. I had this 1 replaced 4 or 5 years ago while it was still under warranty.But I know it can happen again. I'll check it out. Thanks
