Ok I did search but did not come up with the information I need. I am replacing the cv boot and was wondering what needs to be done to replace it. Does the hub have to come loose? How do you get the clamps off? Thanks

u should be a little bit more specific, but I hope u r changing the whole shaft and not just the boot. If u r then remove tire, brake caliper, steering knuckle from hub, then remove hub nut and pull shaft from hub and pop out shaft. sometimes strut may get in way but u should be able to work around it. this is not a easy job and a knuckle buster so if u r not somewhat machanically inclined and have the right tools then plan on a all day job. good luck.
