03 Front End Conversion

Does anyone know if there is a front end conversion kit to convert the front end of a 2000 GT to a 2003 GT, or is it just easier to find a 2003 and rip the front end off of it??

b/c the '03+ front ends look a hell of alot better than the '00-'02.

no conversion kit. just get the '03+ front bumper, take yours off, and put it on. its a direct fit.

Re: 03 Front End Conversion

Im sure you could go junk yarding and find a decent one for like 20 bucks. Sure you might have to spray it, but you would have to do that with a body kit anyway..you might even get lucky and find the color you need. Although, I dont know about the fog light wireing...you might have to extend your stock run to get it to the new location.

Re: 03 Front End Conversion

definately looks hella sweet. The only problem is the previous owner (from what i can tell) drove over a parking curb, so the bottom mounts are hella jacked, do you think that would be a problem?? i can upload pictures as soon as it stops raining or perhaps tonight in the garage...

i don't think that could make a big dif., unless you want to keep that plastic under guard, you may need a new one. i'd try getting one off a donor car, or just ordering one with the bumper

Re: 03 Front End Conversion

the reason i dont like the 03 frnt is that the air dam is smaller an having a frnt mount intercoller in it suks. more air to the intercooler with the 00

Re: 03 Front End Conversion

Isn't it also easier to jack the foglights off the 00-02?

there are ones that are more efficient smaller than larger, its not all about size you kno, its about the motion of the ocean
