91 Park Avenue EGR Valve

anybody out there that can tell me where to find the EGR valve?

If it's the same as 93 3800 in LeSabre it's on the belt end of the motor (passenger) and built into the plastic intake manifold. It has a 1.5 inch diameter cap on top. You push down and rotate the cap and the EGR is under it. You can compare the ease of movement inside and the bounce of the spring with a new one. If it's not crudded up, it won't seem much different. At least, mine didn't at 100K.

Here are some pictures of an EGR and Gasket for a 91 PA. Autozone.com says that it is "UNDER HOOD, CENTER, UPPER ENGINE AREA, MOUNTED IN INTAKE MANIFOLD". I hope this helps. M.

I beleive your thinking of the pcv valve.

according to the haynes book all 3800s either have an electrically controlled or standard EGR
