bad smell

okay so m y dad drives a 2004 explorer with 4.0 fexlfuel anyway i been keeping it up getting the regualr serivces done. anyway when he bought the car i was suprized with the power it had. any how when i get on the highway and i get on the gas i mean kick the gas and get on it the car has a real bad burning smell is this something i need to have looked at or is it normall for these cars?

normaly about 5,000 rpm for about 10 seconds never kicks red line

if it smells like eggs like rotten eggs u r burnin up the tranny mann. but i'v never drivin one. 88 riv and 67 camaro 396BB low 12's high 11's on 10"tires at the track

smell like rooten eggs or burnt clutch figures the trans done been rebuilt once
