'90 camry door speakers

Is there space in the front door behind the panel for a 5-8 inch speaker? and also how big of a speaker will the spaces in the back dashboard

The rear deck (I assume thats what you meant by the 'back dashboard') should be 5 1/4" speakers stock. I don't know what you could fit in the front door. I may be wrong, but I don't think speakers were put in the front door that year. If they weren't, you'd have to measure space, cut metal, and run wires through the loom. If there are, just pop off the panel and measure it.

If you do decide to custom mount them, before you cut a hole for them, or do whatever you decide you have to to mount them, do it with the window all the way down. If you do it with the window up, the speaker may get in the way of the window, and you'll find out when you do try to roll it down one day. Obviously don't cut any metal bars that make the frame of the door, just flat sheet metal that may cover open space. If you don't have enough depth behind any metal, but you have space in front of it, you can get foam baffles for the speaker size you choose and use spacers or some other idea to mount them not flush.

I hope I helped. Again, if there is factory speakers there, and I am wrong, just measure them and replace with the same size for easiest install. If there isn't or you want to go bigger, you should measure yourself the best place to put them, and since you will have to cut metal and run wires through the loom and such, if you're not confident you can find a spot, you probably shouldn't try to put them in the door.

Just remember, measure with the window down, cut with the window up (you don't want to slip and crack the window).

That Camry would have dash mounted speakers in front about 3 1/2 - 4 inch size.
