Question 95 Tracker brake warning light on

Hi,

I bought this 1995 Tracker last summer and noticed the brake warning light is on all of the time. I checked a couple of obvious things, parking brake switch, front/rear master cylinder switch. front/rear differential pressure switch all do not change the light. Have noticed that engaging the parking brake makes the light brighter. At this point suspect the rear anti-lock brake system is the problem. Anyone have any suggestions.

I bought this little Tracker to tow behind my motorhome and then decided it so much fun to drive that I use it as a commuter vehicle on alternating basis with my PT Cruiser. It tows as if it wasn't there and then the convertable top is great for seeing the sights.

BTW - Chiltons manuals for these vehicles are available on eBay for under $10 on CD-ROM.

Thanks,

Albert

Re: 95 Tracker brake warning light on

You have plenty of brake fluid in the master cylinder. I had to take the cap off mine because there was so much dirt i couldn't see the actual fluid level.
