Parking brake adjust. 93 pont. Grand-am

Can any body tell me how to adjust the parking brake on 1993 Pontiac Grand-Am please.

Welcome to the forum, One way to try would be to find an empty street or parking lot and drive the car in reverse and put on the parking brake, you may have to do that several times. That way will work as long as the adjustment is not too far out. The parking brake works off the rear brakes and there is a small wheel inside the brake components, if I remember correctly on the back side of the backing plate for the rear brakes is a small rubber plug, about 1 inch or so long. that plug comes out and the brakes can be adjusted using an adjuster tool. you may want a mechanic to do that adjustment. Being that your car is a 93 it may be that the parking brake cable may be streached too far to be adjusted.
