Power amp or not? 1991 Olds 88

I have just purchased new speakers.
The car is a 1991 Olds 88.
The deck is a Pioneer DEH-P44 about four years old.

Any input on removing the power amp (better or worse sound)

Thanks,
JTM

I actually don't know, but if you ask the car audio forum you may find some better help. Here is a link http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...play.php?f=675
if it won't work you can get to it by going to forums, then cars in general, scrool down and you will see car audio.
