alero water on floor, pass. side (1999 alero)

Great Forum,
A couple of times now I've noticed water(a good amount) on the floor front pass side of my 1999 alero. Its coming from behind the glove box. I took the panel off under the glove box and (I think its the fan motor appears to have some rest on it. I dont know if its coming from inside the motor or dripping on the motor from somewhere else. O by the way may fan speed dials arent working and Im trying to get the fan motor resistor out,I got the front screw out, still working on the second screw near the fire wall.
Any ideas about what to do about the water ????

Are you sure it's not antifreeze? A lot of times a wet passenger side means a heater core problem.

Where do you live? Are you using the A/C? I think I remember hearing about a problem with the way the A/C was draining or somthing and it was because something was clogged up.

I know that's not very specific, but if you look around the forum, a few other people have discussed this.

Its not antifreeze for sure, and I live in Buffalo so its not the A/C. Someone said it might be the drain hole, now I just have to find it.Its suppose to be on the firewall pass side, but Im having trouble finding it.

I have a 2000 Alero that had that problem. If you crawl under car you will find a drain hose coming down from firewall area, heater box.Blow out with compressed air or use coat hanger to brake thru sediment so it can drain moisture created from A/C use.Should be good to go from there.
